Great response to the 5th International Geothermal Conference in Freiburg
Once again the Concert Hall Freiburg created an appropriate framework for the International Geothermal Conference on April 27-28. With its different courses on monday and the congress on tuesday the event offered a broad agenda on geothermal energy.
Already on Monday 80 participants arrived for the beginning of the Conference to attend the first time offered Short Course on developing low-enthalpy geothermal projects in Germany. The clearly orderd structure of the five-hour compact course into the three phases of project development and concise, practical presentations did meet with an altogether positive response from the participants.
The Conference Day on April 28 was attended by nearly 220 participants from twelve different nations which is ten percent more than in 2008. Though you were not only able to inform yourself about the prospects of the Geothermal Energy Market in Turkey but also to exchange intensely on risk management, power plant engineering, HFR technology and project financing. Companies such as H. Anger`s Söhne, enpros consulting, Schlumberger oder Sterr-Kölln & Partner used this branch meeting to present their services to the international number of participants.
