Presentations of IGC available now for Download

The presentations of the Congress (March 4th, 2015) of the International Geothermal Conference 2015 are available for participants now. If you have not received your access data, please contact agentur [at] enerchange [dot] de or dial +49 761 384 21 001.

If you were not able to participate at the IGC 2015 you can either order the "full package" for 175 Euro with all documents and a USB-stick with all presentations or - in case you only want to download some single presentations - request the online access data for 125 Euro.  You can send your order via E-Mail or just call us.

Presentation about the Geothermal Heat Utilisation in Reykjavik

Alexander Richter, founder and director of thinkgeoenergy will present in Forum IV the longterm experiences of geothermal heat utilisation in Reykjavik.

Albert Genter introduces the ECOGI-project

Dr. Albert Genter from the French utility Électricité de Strasbourg (ÉS Groupe) will present the ECOGI-project at the IGC on March 4th. In this project the second well was finished in this year. With the geothermal energy, that is generated the heat will be used for drying of starch in an industrial company. Within this presentation with the title "Towards a Successful Heat Application at High Temperature in Alsace: the ECOGI Geothermal Industrial Project", Albert Genter will speak about the technical implementation of the project.

On the following day in the framework of the Forum Geothermal Energy in the Upper Rhine Graben Bernard Kempf from ÉS will speak about public acceptance of the projects Soultz-sous-Forêts and ECOGI.

Only a few places for the field trip to Bruchsal available

The field trip to the Kalina power plant in Bruchsal of the EnBW is nearly completely booked. More than 20 participants registered already so that there are only a few places left. Due this high interest further participants should register as soon as possible.

Participants of the field trip are also registered to the IGC-Lounge on March 4th and get a two-days-pass for the GeoTHERM.

Transmark Services is Goldsponsor of the IGC

The Dutch Turkish project development company Transmark Services becomes Goldsponsor of the IGC 2015. Just recently the company succeeded in the second well of thier project in Turkey.

At the IGC various speakers from Transmark Services will present their experiences in exploration and the advantages of owning an own drilling rigt for the project development.

EnBW becomes again Gold Sponsor

One of the large utilities in Germany, the EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG becomes again Gold Sponsor of the IGC. The EnBW is operating the geothermal power plant in Bruchsal and is board member of the plant in Soultz-sous-Forêts (France). The excursion of the IGC 2015 will visit the Kalina power plant in Bruchsal.

LGRB new co-operation partner of IGC 2015

We welcome the Federal State Office for Geology Resources and Mining, Freiburg Regional Board (LGRB)  as new co-operation partner of the IGC 2015. The LGRB  is the central geo-scientific and mining authority of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg.

Prof. Tüysüz joins the IGC 2015

Prof. Dr. Okan Tüyüz from the technical University in Isantbul will present a lecture about reservoirs and the potenial of geothermal Energy in Turkey in the Forum about the geothermal development in Turkey. The title of the presentation is "Active tectonics and geothermal potential of Turkey".
